Role Overview

 

We are looking for a motivated and people-oriented Assistant Team Leader to support the Team Leader in managing day-to-day operations, driving team performance, and ensuring delivery of quality outcomes. The role focuses on ensuring productivity, quality, and compliance with client requirements while mentoring team members and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Support daily operations of medical billing, claims processing, AR, and insurance verification with strong RCM knowledge 
  • Monitor team performance, productivity, and SLAs; identify gaps and drive improvements 
  • Conduct quality audits and ensure compliance with HIPAA and client guidelines 
  • Handle escalations, provide floor support, and resolve process-related issues effectively 
  • Prepare MIS reports and analyze data using MS Excel 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with manager as needed 
  • Work with EMR/EHR systems and apply basic knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS
  • Ensure smooth execution of daily operational tasks and timely achievement of targets 
  • Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly performance and operational reports 
  • Provide regular feedback and motivation to team members to achieve their best performance 
  • Good knowledge of US healthcare system and insurance guidelines 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate or any Post Graduate 
  • 1–4 years of experience in Healthcare BPO / Medical Billing / RCM  
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or in a supervisory role 

Work Environment:

  • Healthcare BPO Center 
  • Night shifts or rotational shifts (aligned with US clients)
